Terms of Service

By downloading, accessing, or using SpireSage, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.

SpireSage is a companion app for Slay the Spire 2 that provides:

• Complete game database (cards, relics, potions, enemies, and more)
• AI-powered coaching and strategy advice
• Strategy guides, tier ratings, and win rate data
• Archetype breakdowns and synergy analysis

• Sign-in is available via Apple, Google, or email/password
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• Game data browsing works without an account
• AI coaching and Pro features require authentication

Free tier includes full game database access, 3 AI coaching queries per day, and banner ads.

Pro tier includes unlimited AI coaching, zero ads, complete strategy guides, and synergy analyzer. Pro is available as:

• Monthly subscription
• Annual subscription
• Lifetime one-time purchase (Founders Pass, limited availability)

Prices are displayed dynamically in the app and may vary by region and currency.

• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation
• Manage or cancel subscriptions in your device's account settings (App Store / Google Play)
• No refunds for partial subscription periods
• Lifetime purchases are non-refundable after the standard store refund window
• Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice

• AI responses are generated by a language model and may not always be accurate
• AI coaching is for entertainment and informational purposes; it does not guarantee in-game results
• Conversation data is stored to provide history and improve the service
• Free users are limited to 3 AI queries per day

You agree NOT to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Use the app for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or overload the service
• Circumvent rate limits or usage restrictions
• Share or redistribute subscription access
• Scrape or bulk-download game data from the app
• Use AI coaching to generate harmful or abusive content

• All app content, design, and functionality are owned by SpireSage
• Slay the Spire 2 is owned by Mega Crit Games. All game assets, names, and trademarks belong to their respective owners
• Game data is used under fair use for informational and educational purposes
• You retain rights to your conversation data and locally stored preferences

We are not liable for:

• Loss of data, progress, or in-game outcomes
• In-game consequences of following AI coaching advice
• Third-party service failures (Supabase, RevenueCat, Apple, Google)
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app

The app integrates with the following services, each with their own terms:

• Supabase: Authentication and data storage
• RevenueCat: Subscription management
• Apple App Store / Google Play: Payment processing
• OpenAI: AI model for coaching
• PostHog: Anonymous analytics

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue features with or without notice
• Update subscription pricing with reasonable notice
• Update these terms (continued use constitutes acceptance)
• Suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
